When you want to buy a new or used laptop, always do your research before purchasing anything. This guide will give you a point-form list of things to look for in the laptop that you would like to purchase.
· Lithium Ion Battery- One of the longest lasting batteries in the market today, check how long it lasts since it’s used.
· Hard drive with at least 120 GB of space to save important files, programs and pictures.
· Wireless network card- Enables you to connect to the internet wirelessly when near a signal.
· At least 2GB of Ram for fast program responses.
· CD Writer (optional for those who need to burn CDs).
· Windows XP operating system or higher (for Macs, look for OS) for more user-friendly options.
· No Damage- You always want your computer to look as good as new, and to work just like it’s new.
· No faulty ports/ drives- So that everything will be working normal. Ex. CD drive, Mic /headphones port.
· A Screen with no purple haze or discolouration- To get the highest visual quality out of your laptop experience.
· Keyboard and Touch pad still works- Without a proper working keyboard, a laptop is basically useless. Make sure the touchpad and keyboard both work before buying.
